Chicago, IL (March 4, 2004)–The Neve 8058 at Gravity Studios in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood has been slammed so far this year. Hot up-and-coming rock bands from both sides of pond have been in recently including Swedish sensation The Sounds, as well as NYC’s Elephant and The Walkmen. All three bands worked with producer Doug McBride at the controls.
Engineer Sean O’Keefe mixed projects for The Juliana Theory and Less Than Jake at Gravity, and engineer Manny Sanchez mixed a project with his fellow Zwan graduate Bjorn Thorsrud. Meanwhile, Gravity’s Pro Tools B room has been busy as well, with Austin Texas products Riddlin Kids working with McBride, Sanchez and Paul Long.
