The installation allows artists, engineers, musicians and producers to audition the monitor system in person for the first time at a retail location, and purchase it through GC Pro.

Allen Sides, Ocean Way founder, designer and owner, was on hand to give demonstrations of the system, using music from original analog master tapes of classic sessions held at Ocean Way Recording studios. In attendance were prominent members of the Los Angeles music industry, as well as members of the press.

Prior to the Ocean Way monitor installation at Guitar Center's West Los Angeles outlet, the loudspeakers had only been seen at the AES and NAMM Conventions and at the recording studio's non-public demo rooms.

"We are thrilled that this event was so well attended, and we welcome all interested parties to continue to come in and preview this remarkable monitor system," stated GC Pro Director Rick Plushner. "We are proud to partner with Allen Sides and Ocean Way in acting as exclusive distributor of the Ocean Way monitors, giving GC Pro customers access to the finest monitoring anywhere. GC Pro is deeply dedicated to offering our clients cutting-edge gear solutions, and Ocean Way Monitoring Systems help us affirm that promise."

The Ocean Way monitor systems now available through GC Pro range from the HR-2 tri-amplified 3-way system to the OWA-1615Q quad-amplified system with four mid-bass horns, eight mid-woofers, eight sub-bass woofers, and two radial horns with dual throats. Systems include crossovers, equalizers and power amps.
