Elkhart, IN (January 19, 2011)--Harman Professional has named Mark Posgay as its sales director for the United States.

A 17-year sales leader with experience in professional audio, Posgay will be based out of Harman Professional’s Elkhart Sales & Support Center and will report to Scott Robbins, vice president of sales.

“Our moves to consolidate sales operations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Potters Bar, United Kingdom have paid a strong dividend in terms of effectiveness and efficiency,” Robbins said. “Having Mark Posgay onboard to lead the Elkhart-based national sales team promises equally strong results from our new U.S. sales operation. Before joining Harman, Posgay held senior sales positions at Mars Music and more recently at Monster Cable. He has worked in the areas of management, sales, training and education to an end-user, retailer, distributor, manufacturer and educator client mix.
