Nashville, TN (January 27, 2005)–Harrision has announced Trion, a new flexible console system featuring a traditional surface architecture eliminating the need for a central, shared-knobs control panel.
Controls and assignments for each Trion channel are fully accessible as traditional, vertically arranged strips or in an enhanced version expanded across eight channels for an intuitive, knob-per-function control, anywhere on the console. This powerful feature, together with dynamic profiling (calling any channel or set of channels to any fader strip or set of fader strips), allows a single Trion to share and support remote control panels in applications where distributed control is desired.
All Trion systems internally generate Harrison’s exclusive PreView Display (waveform with history) from any audio source, with no DAW required. According to the company, Wide Pipe architecture with un-truncated 40-bit sonic precision delivers uncompromised and unequaled sound quality. Trion is available in dedicated versions and sizes for broadcast, post-production, live performance, and music.
