Bangkok, Thailand/Nashville, TN (June 15, 2005)–The Mass Communications Authority of Thailand (MCOT), Thailand’s largest primary provider of current national and international news, recently purchased its first Harrison TVD-SL digital broadcasting console. MCOT, which owns the concessions to Channel 3, Channel 9 and UBC cable television, and over 50 radio stations nationwide, will utilize Harrison’s latest broadcasting console for on-air program orientation.
The console consists of 256 inputs/outputs (including D/A, A/D, and mic preamps), swing-arm mounted TFT displays used in conjunction with the IKIS Control Platform, 36 motorized faders, 24 input display strips, and a DSP Core providing 64 channels, each with 4-band and 8-band parametric EQ, HP and LP filters, limiter/compressor, noise gate, 5.1 bussing / panning, delay, integral diagnostics, routing to all console busses, and true 40-bit floating point processing throughout. The TVD-SL also includes a digital router configured to system and expandable to 2240 x 2240.
