Albuquerque, NM (October 8, 2004)–H.A.S. Productions, a regional touring operator-based in Las Vegas, NV has added the DAS Aero 28 Line Array to its inventory.
“The self powered Aero 28 is a perfect fit for many of our clients,” stated Larry Hall owner of H.A.S. Productions. Hall continued, “The wide 120 degree dispersion and two person hang that saves on labor costs made it an easy choice.”
“The Aero 28 in either of its passive or active configurations makes it a very popular choice with regional operators that have to switch from a corporate ‘taking head’ show to high energy concert within a very short period of time,” commented Kevin Hill, USA sales manager for DAS Audio of America. “DAS Audio is fortunate to add a company such as H.A.S. Productions to DAS Audio’s family of Aero Line Array owners.”
The Aero 28 system comprises of a mid/high cabinet, CA-28(A) that utilizes two specifically designed 8″ neodymium drivers with 2.5″ voice coils. The CA-28 also features a medium format compression driver which uses a 3″ titanium diaphragm with a 1.5″ exit that is coupled to the DAS Audio’s SERPIS, a high frequency plane wave generator. Low frequency reproduction is handled by two neodymium 15″ drivers with 4″ voice coils in the CA-215(A).
“We have been working the Aero 28 constantly with artists that range from Tracy Lawrence to the Gin Blossoms. The results and comments have been two thumbs up from the FOH engineers using the Aero,” said Hall. “In fact, several artists are now insisting on using the Aero when they make return engagements instead of one of my other rigs.”
