Bethesda, Maryland (July 15, 2004)–Lipinski Sound Corporation with Mytek Digital, invites producers and engineers for a production seminar on high resolution surround PCM and DSD production techniques, and a day of hands-on experiments and listening tests. The workshop will take place on July 21 in Ocean Way Studio B from 11am until 8 pm.
The main room will feature high resolution 5.1 and 6.0 surround, and stereo playback systems built around Lipinski L-505 and L-707 monitors with L-150G subwoofers and Mytek Digital Audio Converters. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own SACD or DVD-A discs.
In the control room, Michal Jurewicz of Mytek Digital will discuss high resolution 2FS and 4FS PCM production methods for SACD and DVD-A release, as well as high speed conversion/processing issues and methods for PCM DSD conversion. A separate control room stereo playback system featuring the Lipinski L-707 will be used for monitoring.
