Kuala Lumpur (June 20, 2006)–Klotz Digital Asia announced an order from HT Music for their new FM stations. The order is for the supply of VADIS routers in the main control rooms for each station and AEON Digital On-Air consoles for their on-air studios.
The AEON consoles are equipped with 12 faders each and are connected via a fiber-optic backbone to the VADIS router. The VADIS routing system also integrates a station wide intercom system for the production studios, the station manager’s office, and the MCR.
The VADIS router is also configured with audio monitoring software providing signal check and program fail alarms.
“This is our first order for the new FM licenses in India and we are very excited to work with HT Music on the set-up of their new stations. Klotz Digital has equipped hundreds of stations across Asia over the last 10 years and we are looking forward to making the HT Music stations a showcase for the Indian market,” commented Andre Sauer, managing director of Klotz Digital Asia.
The overall system design including the stations’ workflow is planned by Telesto Broadcast Solutions of Singapore, HT Music’s project consultant.
The project will be carried out in cooperation with Klotz Digital’s distribution and integration partner Electro Dynamics who is going to provide on-site support during the installation and commissioning of the systems. A dedicated team of engineers will also be present from Klotz Digital Asia to support the commissioning of the systems and carry out the training with the end-users.
“We have worked with Klotz Digital for the last two years promoting their products to the government and private sectors in India. Securing the order from HT Music is an important milestone for us and we are delighted to work with HT Music to realize their projects,” said Lalit Agarwal of Electro Dynamics.
Electro Dynamics will also carry out after sales service and support for the HT Music stations.
