New York, NY (June 12, 2008)--Original music composition and sound design agency Human recently won two 2008 AICP Awards and contributed to three other award-winning spots.
Human's two winning awards were for Best Sound Design, for Audi TT's "Moment" TV spot, and Best Original Music for SOS: "SOS." The awards were presented during the AICP Show held June 3 in New York City at the Museum of Modern Art.
For "Moments," Human provided sound design, working with director Jorn Threlfall and editor Adam Pertofsky. Audi of America's 2007 campaign was called "Truth in Engineering." The spot depicts what can happen within just "0.2 seconds."
Human's original music for the SOS spot, promoting "The Movement for a Climate in Crises," conveys the message of "help," using the classic "SOS" Morse Code distress signal depicted through a number of dramatic musical expressions. The director was Frank Budgen of Gorgeous Enterprises/Anonymous Content.
Human's contributions were also acknowledged in three other 2008 AICP Award-winning spots: Best Spec Spot for Zune's "Music is Life;" Best Cinematography for Nike's "How I Fight;" and Advertising Excellence for a Campaign for Monster.com's "Stork."
Human, founded in 2001 by composers Morgan Visconti, Andrew Bloch, Gareth Williams and managing partner Marc Altshuler, has offices in New York and Los Angeles.
