New York City (May 6, 2005)--Mastercard's award-winning commercial, Badger, The Lost Dog, will be making its movie debut in theaters across the country. The 60-second score was recorded in the Czech Republic by Prague Recording founder and engineer, Gary Chester, who mixed the spot in 5.1 surround in Manhattan Center's Studio 7 for its theatrical release.

"Coming home after a long trip? Priceless!" the voiceover announces as Badger the dog makes his way home after being left behind by his family in the Redwood Forest. The music score was composed by Ant Music and produced by McCann Erickson's music producer, Mike Boris.

Chester, who has mixed many film scores in surround sound in studios all over the world, commented that he loves the way Manhattan Center Production's Studio 7 is already pre-set for surround, making it very easy to approach, and that the sound he got in Prague translated beautifully in the studio. "I'll definitely be bringing more of my Prague recordings here to mix," said Chester.
