New York, NY (February 1, 2005)–The holiday season brought a number of new and interesting projects to Sound on Sound Recording along with many of the company’s regular clients. In the SSL 9072 J-equipped Studio A, vocals for a television spot for the Broadway sensation Good Vibrations were recorded with producer David Holcenberg and Bojan Dugic. Vega Records artist Mark Whitfield recorded with Arthur N. Asahina and Jim Anderson, and Def Jam artist Shyne recorded vocals with Bobby Springsteen and Bojan Dugic.
Also in Studio A, Tom Spahn and Rene Antelmann were tracking “Hooked On Phonics” for TRA Productions, Roc-A-Fella artist Rell was mixing with Boola and Doug Wilson, and producer John Miller and engineer Dugic pre-recorded a segment of the Broadway hit Little Women for the Today Show.
In Studio B, Cory Gunz was recording vocals and mixing with producer Tone and Dugic engineering, Moby was mixing with engineer Brian Sperber, KEM was mixing with engineer Ray Bardani, The Game was mixing with Buckwild and Carlysle Young, and Kenji was mixing with engineer Steven Stanley.
Meanwhile, in Studio C, equipped with a Sony Oxford OXF-R3, Full Surface artist Lamajic was recording tracks with Swizz Beatz producing and Arnold Mischkulnig engineering.
In the Pro Tools HD4-equipped Studio D, Universal artist Remy Martin recorded vocals with producer Sean C and engineer Carlysle Young, Boo recorded vocals with Swizz Beatz and Dugic, and Klark Kent and Isaiah Abolin were editing and recording vocals for the RocLaFamilia Mix Tape, for Roc-A-Fella.
