Modena, Italy (June 27, 2006)–IK Multimedia is presenting the Guitar and Bass Plug-in Tour powered by AmpliTube. The tour was launched at the end of May in the United States and is slated to last through the summer worldwide. IK’s advanced guitar amp and bass amp and FX plug-ins, Ampeg SVX and AmpliTube 2, will be featured in music stores around the world, demonstrated by IK’s clinicians, plus guitarists and bass players.
These events are free to attend, and grant musicians the opportunity to win prizes and a chance to enter into the Grand Prize drawing for StompIO, IK’s advanced USB foot controller. The tour schedule includes clinics such as:

Both Ampeg SVX and AmpliTube 2 are powered by AmpliTube’s DSM (Dynamic Saturation Modeling) technology. DSM exclusive technology, developed by IK with years of research into analog modeling, is used to accurately emulate tube circuitry.
