New York, NY (January 6, 2006)--Full Range Recordings will host a "Music Talks" event on Sunday, January 8, from 1:00-3:00pm. Music Talks is a free event for independent artists, songwriters, producers, project studio owners and musicians, a small forum for discussion on music and recording industry topics. The event will take place at Full Range Recordings, located in Washington Heights at 181st Street and Fort Washington Ave. in Manhattan.

Music Talks has been designed to encourage the giving and sharing of information, ideas and experiences by gathering music and recording industry professionals together, and inviting a "specialist" to come and advise the group on a particular topic. For example, if songwriters during a session discover the need to better understand a certain part of the copyright laws, then a copyright lawyer will be invited into a "Music Talks" session.

"Music Talks" provides a unique "small classroom" approach, it offers artist, songwriters, project studio owners and musicians individual attention to better help them define and cultivate their careers, by working together, sharing information and experiences to identify what has worked and what has not worked for them in following career path opportunities.
