Orlando, FL (June 8, 2009)--At this year's InfoComm in Orlando, FL, Stefan Feistel of the Ahnert Feistel Media Group (AFMG) will deliver two seminars on Renkus-Heinz's latest software updates.
The new release of SysTune (Version 1.1) will be discussed on Thursday June18th at 4:00 pm in the Renkus-Heinz Demo Room W205C, and a seminar on speech intelligibility prediction using the new version of EASE, Version 4.3, will be presented on Friday June 19 from 8:00-10:00 am in Meeting Room W102A.
The SysTune seminar is free and open for all to attend; for the EASE seminar, visit www.InfoCommShow.org in the Education section and register under the Manufacturers' Seminars. Stefan Feistel comments: "We have designed these seminars to offer a very concise but detailed explanation of what customers can expect from SysTune 1.1, and how EASE 4.3 can be used to predict speech intelligibility in all situations from the simple to the most complex. Each seminar will provide a very valuable insight for all professionals who work with acoustics in either the installation or live sound environment."
The new features in EASE 4.3, aimed at sound system designers, room acousticians and architects, will be discussed in the Friday seminar, along with aspects of speech intelligibility theory, measurement and modeling. It will focus on the various methods EASE 4.3 uses to predict STI in accordance with IEC 60268-16 - and their advantages and limitations.
The SysTune seminar on Thursday will be devoted to the v1.1 upgrade for EASERA SysTune, AFMG's live sound measurement software.
The new version will provide a set of major additions, including new DSP Plug-In functions supported by manufacturers such as Renkus-Heinz, Linea Research, Tannoy, Turbosound, FZ Audio, Electro-Voice, Salzbrenner StageTec, FourAudio and Harvey Audio. A new Virtual EQ function is among several major performance enhancements, along with reportedly improved handling of axis settings and default view limits and better results for music and speech signals. Impedance and distortion measurement functions, offline evaluation of recorded measurement data and more data processing options will be available in the new Pro version of SysTune, also introduced at InfoComm.
The upgrade follows the announcement at Pro Light+Sound 2009 that Salzbrenner Stagetec is to be the world's first console manufacturer to host EASERA SysTune, making it available to AURUS customers as a solution integrated into the mixing console's work surface. Any corrections necessary can be made from the FOH position using the SysTune interface, acting on the integrated NEXUS audio network DSPs.
