New York (December 13, 2010)—On December 14, American Institute of Architects will present John Storyk of WSDG discussing his creation of Electric Lady Studios in 1969.

Electric Lady Studios was designed for Jimi Hendrix in 1969 and has been churning out hits for the likes of Coldplay, The Rolling Stones, U2, Beyonce and Kanya West ever since.

Tuesday evening, studio architect/acoustician and co-principal of the Walters-Storyk Design Group, John Storyk, will give a retrospective look at the creation of the facility.

The event will be held at the Center For Architecture, Tafel Hall (lower level), 536 LaGuardia Place (Bleecker & W. 3rd Street), Greenwich Village, NY. Admission is free, but space is limited.
