Princeton, NJ (May 9, 2005)–The International Recording Media Association (IRMA) has appointed Guy Finley as the association’s director of operations, effective August 1, 2005.
Finley recently served as president of Larry Finley Associates, providing home video brand and business consulting services for a worldwide clientele. Services included acquisition, marketing and promotion of home video products. The firm also represents JVC (Victor Company of Japan) to license the loading and duplication of VHS videocassettes bearing the VHS logo trademark.
Before his time with LFA, he performed in and acted as manager of a New York City musical group mentored by legendary record producer, Phil Ramone. Finley personally negotiated their 7-figure-recording contract with N2K Encoded Music and a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music, the summit of his 10-year career in the music industry. His previous years of small-business experience emphasized administration, advertising, financial management and legal research.
