Cambridge, MA (October 7, 2009)--iZotope will now handle distribution of its Ozone 4, iZotope RX, Spectron and Trash products.
The move comes in the wake of the company ending its distribution agreement with M-Audio. iZotope has experienced expansion over the past few years and feels this shift is a natural extension of its development as a company.
"M-Audio has played an important role in iZotope's growth into an industry-standard and world-recognized brand. Since the number and breadth of our product offerings has grown, iZotope will now work directly with our dealer and distributor network to serve their needs and our end-customer needs," explained Bruce Bartone, Director of Sales for iZotope. "Additionally, our shift to digital distribution will not only allow us to serve our customers better but also eliminate unnecessary packaging."
iZotope will transition to distribute its products digitally only by delivering serial numbers directly to its dealer and distributor network. Dealers and distributors interested in learning more about iZotope products should contact iZotope's Sales Department or visit iZotope at their AES booth #427 in NYC this week.
eMedia Music will continue to handle iZotope's worldwide consumer channel in order to distribute products such as iDrum and other upcoming releases. iZotope will handle responsibility for the direct distribution of its worldwide Music Industry (MI) and Pro Audio channels. The iZotope MI line includes products such as Ozone 4, iZotope RX, Spectron, Trash, Radius for Logic Pro and Soundtrack Pro, and the newly released Alloy. The iZotope Pro Audio line includes the ANR-B adaptive noise reduction hardware unit, RX Advanced, and an upcoming line of professional hardware and software processors.
