Nashville, TN (December 30, 2005)–JamSync recently authored the Charlie Daniels’ CDB DVD Live, released by Daniels’ Blue Hat Records and distributed by Koch Records.
Charlie Daniels CDB DVD Live is the first live concert DVD for the band. It was shot July 4th, 2005 on the Riverfront in Nashville with 100,000 fans in attendance. The audio was recorded in 5.1 surround. The disc includes concert footage, behind the scenes interviews, music videos, and footage from Daniels’ trip to Iraq and Southwest Asia in 2005 with music spanning the country music star’s prolific career.
“I was thrilled to answer the call from the production company, Travis Television,” said JamSync’s K. K. Proffitt.” It’s always a pleasure to hear great music in our studio and working with video editing whiz Rich Evirs and producer Storme Warren was an enjoyable challenge.”
In addition to authoring, the CDB DVD Live project involved matching calibrated levels and encoding multichannel audio for proper downmix, services JamSync has been offering since it opened eight years ago on Nashville’s Music Row.
Proffitt continued, “Rich and I were both using Final Cut Studio on our own systems, so it was easy to check out revisions as the project developed. I remember seeing Charlie Daniels when I was a student at Vanderbilt years ago and he’s simply gotten better and better.”
