Las Vegas, NV (May 1, 2006)–Junger Audio’s Level Magic family of products, an audio processing system that eliminates the wild jumps in level that occur often when switching from one source to another, was officially presented to the U.S. market at NAB2006.
Level Magic uses a highly sophisticated adaptive level control algorithm to tame the transitions from one program source to another, and looks after program peaks and average levels as well. Level Magic incorporates truly useful Adaptive Automatic Gain Control (AGC), along with Junger Transient Processing. This combination of the Adaptive AGC and Transient Processing provides the key to obtaining a satisfying output level control for any kind of input level changes. Together with Junger’s Look Ahead Brick Wall Peak Limiting, these three Level Magic processes work together to give continuous unattended control of any program material.
Level Magic Surround, the newest member of the Level Magic family, offers 8-channel Level Magic audio processing that covers all of the usual TV broadcast, film dubbing, and DVD post surround sound formats. Level Magic Surround links all channels of a group to allow them to receive the same gain change or the same amount of limiter reduction. The Junger Audio Look Ahead Brick Wall Limiter guarantees precise peak limiting without any distortion for any kink of surround program signal anytime.
Junger Audio also showed the new HD/SDI embedder/de-embedder cards for its C8000 digital audio modular processing system. The C8403 dual mode HD/SDI SDI interface is an 8-channel audio embedder and de-embedder card for all standard HD/SDI format signals. In addition, the company is displayed its HD/SDI interface card for its well-known b40 series of audio processing products for the first time.
