Karen O In Pilot Seat

New York, NY (November 9, 2006)--Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O recently recorded her rendition of the Bob Dylan classic, "Highway 61 Revisited" for the upcoming Dylan biopic, I'm Not There. She cut the song at Pilot Recording Studios, with producer/Sonic Youth guitarist Lee Ranaldo and engineer Stuart Lerman. Pilot's Matt Shane assisted on the session.

Pilot recently upgraded their Pro Tools rig in Studio A to an all Apogee HD3 Accel setup with Apple HD Monitors and the Latest G5 Quad technology. Upcoming projects include another record with Liverpool, UK band, The Mags, produced by Will Schillinger, as well mastering and mixing the upcoming release from NY/LA band, the New Black.

Since finishing recording and mixing the album, These Four Walls, Shawn Colvin and producer/engineer John Leventhal have been back into Pilot doing some remixing for miscellaneous singles releases with Shane assisting. Schillinger has mastered records for Keegan, DB Leonard, and Sky Smeed at Pilot, and has been recording an album, with Shane, for singer/songwriter Dana LaCroix.
