Ken Will Morton Puts Finishing Touches On Sophomore Release

Athens, GA (August 26, 2005)--The Athens, GA-based roots rocker Ken Will Morton recently wrapped up mixing his second solo effort, King of Coming Around, at producer/former Sugar bassist David Barbe's Chase Park Transduction Studios in Athens, GA, with producer/engineer Ben Holst.

Athens, GA (August 26, 2005)--The Athens, GA-based roots rocker Ken Will Morton recently wrapped up mixing his second solo effort, King of Coming Around, at producer/former Sugar bassist David Barbe's Chase Park Transduction Studios in Athens, GA, with producer/engineer Ben Holst.

The album is a diverse collection of 13 original songs blending rock, blues, folk, and Americana, showcasing Morton's strengths as a songwriter, singer and guitarist. Guest players on the recording include: Brann Dailor (Mastodon), Patrick Ferguson (ex-Five-Eight), John Neff (The Chasers, ex-Drive By Truckers), Daemon recording artist Paul Melancon, Holst (Love Tractor), Jason Nesmith (Casper & The Cookies) and more.

King of Coming Around is the follow up to Morton's 2004 release, In Rock'n'Roll's Hands. Morton is currently touring with his band, The Wholly Ghosts. The band includes: Holst on guitar/keyboard/vocals, bassist Kyle Harris, and Brandon Hicks on drums.
