Wedemark, DE (April 3, 2006)–Klein + Hummel has licensed EtherSound technology. EtherSound-authorized implementor AuviTran will assist K+H in enabling its studio monitor systems, PA systems and installed sound products to network via EtherSound.
“We are excited about the possibilities of networked audio products,” said K+H president Achim Gleissner. “EtherSound combines advanced technology, rapidly growing capabilities, a global standard infrastructure (Ethernet) and an expanding community of manufacturers and end users. This makes it an ideal platform for future K+H products.”
“K+H has a strong brand a reputation for quality and innovation,” said EtherSound business development manager Jimmy Kawalek. “We are pleased to see this full-line audio manufacturer recognize that its best option for delivering superior customer value is with the open standard of EtherSound networking technologies.”
K+H manufactures studio systems, PA loudspeakers, controllers and amplifiers, and commercial sound systems. K+H products are distributed globally by the Sennheiser sales network, along with other exclusive partners.
