Popular alt-country singer-songwriter Todd Snider, who recorded his Viva Satellite LP at Ardent, helmed the Williams project as producer and enlisted fellow East Nashvillian Eric McConnell as mix engineer. Adam Hill assisted.

"Working at Ardent again felt like coming home for Thanksgiving," remarked Snider. "I can't imagine a better place for Jason D. Williams to mix his first batch of self-penned songs. Three cheers to Ardent's own Adam Hill for his honest opinions and input. He and Ardent Studios played a priceless role in the sound and feel of this album."
