Stockholm, Sweden (November 18, 2003)--Sveriges Radio, the national broadcasting corporation for Sweden, has recently taken the decision to standardize on Klark Teknik microphone splitters throughout their whole fleet of brand new OB vehicles. So far, sixteen DN1248 Plus devices have been installed across seven vehicles with more planned for the future as new OB trucks are added to the fleet. In the meantime, the units have been carefully installed in such a way as to make them easy to remove from the trucks if they are required for use externally.

Per olof Ljungmark of Intersonic AB, Klark Teknik's distributor in Sweden, explained that Sveriges Radio implemented a rigorous evaluation procedure of all analogue splitters on the market before opting for the Klark Teknik device. "They were particularly impressed with the sound quality--clearly the inclusion of the Midas Heritage preamp makes it a great-sounding device--as well as certain features of the unit, including the ability to customize it to their requirements," commented Ljungmark.

"For example, rather than standard XLRs, they have chosen to configure their units with multipin connectors because they find it easier to connect into their trucks with multipins. We supplied the splitters with blank plates on the back and they did the rest. It was very straightforward. Another feature that definitely won points for Klark Teknik was the ability of the device to take a line level input which is something that competitive units can't offer. And of course, it represents great value for money."
