And "electro-rockers" She Wants Revenge were at The Village to record a live session for NPR station KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, hosted by Nic Harcourt.

West Los Angeles, CA (January 25, 2006)--Singer/songwriter Kyler England was at The Village Recording Studios recently laying down tracks for a new EP with producer/engineer Richard Furch, who was assisted by Jim Monti. And "electro-rockers" She Wants Revenge were at The Village to record a live session for NPR station KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, hosted by Nic Harcourt.

Pictured at The Village are (l-r): Richard Furch, producer/engineer; Eric Holden, bass; Kyler England; Bryan Keeling, drums; and Ben Butler, electric guitar.England, who is shopping for a label deal, is a past winner of the Unisong, North Carolina, Mid-Atlantic and Windrift songwriting contests and has shared the stage with Sting, Annie Lennox, Avril Lavigne, James Taylor and Melissa Etheridge, among others. The new tracks are a follow-up to the North Carolina native's A Flower Grows in Stone album. Recording sessions at The Village included guitarist Ben Butler (Jonathan Brooke, Dar Williams), Eric Holden on bass (The Bodeans, Josh Groban), and Bryan Keeling on drums (Shooter Jennings).

England, a longtime friend of Furch, whom she has described as her favorite producer/engineer, explained why she chose The Village for the sessions:
"Some legends as well as heroes of mine have recorded there, including Aerosmith, Tori Amos, Fleetwood Mac, Sheryl Crow, Tom Petty, Beck, Aretha Franklin, Peter Gabriel, Joni Mitchell, John Lennon, Madonna, and BB King, just to name a small few."

The band includes bass/keyboard player Adam 12 and front man/guitarist Justin Warfield Engineer on the KCRW session was Jason Wormer with Jesse Fredericks assisting. KCRW's Ariana Morgenstern produced the session.
