Columbia SC (June 27, 2006)–Kylesa is currently at Columbia SC’s Jam Room recording studio tracking and mixing their third full length album, their second full length on Prosthetic Records. Phiillip Cope, the band’s guitarist, is producing the record and Steve Slavich and Jam Room owner Jay Matheson are engineering.

Photo by Jen Ray.Kylesa’s album is being done on Jam Room’s Pro Tools HD2 rig and features lots of new gear including A Designs Pacifica ADL600 preamps and the studio’s huge collection of guitar amps. The record, the band’s first with two drummers, is scheduled for release around October of 2006, and will also be licensed to Havoc records for a vinyl release.
