Cedar Rapids, IA (March 16, 2006)–As part of the NSCA Systems Integration Expo this year, going on right now, the new Las Vegas Systems Contractors Association (LVSCA) will officially launch its activities at a breakfast tomorrow, March 17 at 9:00 a.m. Top system integrators representing the best in commercial and professional installs in the Las Vegas market will be on site to discuss and answer questions on the current state of entertainment technology and how it will affect system contractors over the coming months and years.
Attendees from major casinos and resorts will focus on the latest, local entertainment systems projects. The LVSCA program will feature a keynote speech by Peter Aaronson, general manager of SPL Integrated Solutions Las Vegas, which has completed countless installs in the region, including La Reve at the Wynn Casino.
“NSCA is proud to host the inaugural meeting of this important new regional organization. The LVSCA event will give local and national electronic systems industry professionals a chance to compare best practices and technical expertise,” said Chuck Wilson, NSCA executive director, and a panelist at the LVSCA breakfast. “So much of our industry’s future depends on the sharing of experience and expertise possessed by designers and installers working with leading-edge technologies. As part of the program, a panel of local leaders will also discuss how high-end audio, video, lighting, networking and 3G telephony impact every size of project, from mega-casinos to local sports bars.
Attendees to the LVSCA kickoff breakfast will receive automatic registration for the NSCA Systems Integration Expo show floor, and badges will be available at the breakfast, in LVCC Room S115/S116, Friday, March 17, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Continental Breakfast is included for 100-plus professional attendees.
