Let Them Eat QSC

Anaheim, CA (January 25, 2008)--QSC Audio is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and kicked off the occasion with a NAMM press conference highlighted by an incredibly detailed cake based on its GX series amps. The baked dessert, unfortunately, will not become part of QSC's standard product line.

The baked dessert, unfortunately, will not become part of QSC's standard product line.

To properly launch the festivities, founder Pat Quilter joined Barry and John Andrews in unveiling the cake replica of new GX Series amps. The ornate, edible amps were surprisingly realistic, down to the finest details. Reportedly the sugary confection failed to meet UL standards, but is said to have tasted as good as it looked (perhaps wisely, the press were not invited to indulge in the treat). As for real news at the conference, brothers Barry and John now jointly share the CEO's office.
