Las Vegas, NV (November 3, 2009)–License To Thrill Music LLC has announced a music publishing partnership with Academy Award-winning composer Tim Larkin.
License To Thrill Music, an independent music publisher providing one-stop music synchronization and licensing, will represent original music by Larkin for use in advertising, film, television and other media productions.
Larkin’s scores have garnered numerous awards, been performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, and featured in trailers for films such as Steven Spielberg’s Academy Award-winning Munich. No stranger to the Academy, Tim was also the sound designer for the Oscar-winning animated short film The Chubbchubbs, created by Sony Imageworks. Known for his work as a composer for the Myst franchise, his ethnic and mystical music accompanies the virtual worlds of Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, Myst V and Myst Online.
“We’ve been longtime admirers of Tim’s innovative soundtracks,” said Valerie Vickers, A&R/Licensing manager for License To Thrill Music. “He brings a dynamic and diverse musical portfolio which complements our growing roster of award-winning musical talent.”
The team behind License To Thrill Music has worked on platinum selling records, films, #1 hit singles and acclaimed album releases by some of the biggest names in music, spanning a period of over 25 years in the music business with artists such as Bjork, The Cure, Kraftwerk and Happy Mondays.
