Bethesda, MD (August 27, 2004)–Lipinski Sound Corporation and DK Capital, have partnered for an industry-first, financing solution that will enable pro audio professionals to enter the high resolution, multichannel, surround market.
“With the advent of SACD, DVD-A, and now Microsoft’s WMA release, surround is here to stay,” said Lukas Lipinski, president/CEO and founder of Lipinski Sound. “It is our mission to equip the pro audio community with quality gear so that high resolution, multichannel audio can be delivered properly to the end-customer. With the help of DK Capital, we can help make this kind of quality affordable.”
Lipinski Sound held well attended demonstrations in Nashville in July, where dozens visited the Oceanway Nashville studios to hear the monitors and to experience the surround techniques of Andrew Lupinski, including use of a height channel. Lipinski Sound will attend its first West Coast conference alongside Solid State Logic, at the Surround 2004 International Conference & Showcase, on August 31 and September 1, 2004, at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. The GC Pro Whitley Heights room at Surround 2004 will feature the new SSL AWS 900 Analogue Workstation System with Lipinski 5.1 surround and stereo setups based on L-707, L-505 monitors and L-150G subwoofers.
“I have worked with quadraphony since 1974 and had to wait 30 years for surround technology to finally come back,” said Lipinski, a producer/engineer. “Starting in 2003, I decided to no longer work exclusively in stereo. The industry needs a new format. High resolution stereo will not win the battle, but surround can bring new breath to the industry and revitalize and revolutionize the market. The future of our work is in our own hands and it should be our responsibility to educate our customers.”
Subject to credit approval, the financing plan for Lipinski surround packages will offer 24 and 36-month lease alternatives with low, 6.9 percent and 7.9 percent interest, respectively. Doug Kocsis of DK Capital has worked with the pro-audio industry for 14 years on the financing end of transactions. “Our company understands the importance of preservation of working capital, and is committed to help the pro audio community on this new mission through smart, unobtrusive, low-interest, leasing alternatives,” said Doug Kocsis, president DK Capital.
For many years prior to the creation of Lipinski Sound, Andrew’s “golden ear” talent was a creative force behind pro audio equipment manufacturers such as Mytek Digital. He has also consulted for high end audiophile companies. Lipinski’s hearing abilities were recognized by the U.S. National Bureau of Standards, where he was the only individual to achieve a perfect score on the listening evaluation of DAT anticopy code.
