Pyramind’s David Earl, left, and Paul Lipson.San Francisco, CA (July 21, 2008)–Audio production and training facility Pyramind, Inc. has announced the hiring of Paul Lipson as Vice President of Business Development. Concurrently, Pyramind has expanded its production team with the addition of David Earl, named Director of Production Services.
Lipson formerly served as the Chief Academic Officer at Ex’pression College for Digital Arts, and continues in his role as President of the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G). G.A.N.G is a worldwide association of music composers and sound designers that empowers the game audio community by providing resources, education, and recognition for its members.
“Mr. Lipson’s diverse, yet convergent, background in education and production is the perfect match for Pyramind,” says Executive Director Gregory J. Gordon.
Established in 1987, Pyramind, Inc. offers interactive sound development services and music and media production for screen and interactive entertainment.
Since moving into its 880 Folsom Street facilities in April of 2003, Pyramind has developed three full-time certificate-training programs in advanced digital audio and music production, including pioneering Digidesign’s Pro Tools operator and expert manufacture certifications and becoming an Apple Authorized Training Center for Logic, Final Cut and DVD Studio Pro.
