Studio City, CA (May 20, 2005)–Lisa Blackwood Hope has been named vice president of operations at Studio City, California-based Media City Sound it was announced by company President Alan Ett. Blackwood Hope will bring her extensive experience and proven track record in television production and project management to the Media City Sound team.
Blackwood Hope noted, “I’ve known and worked with Alan for many years. He’s created an amazing group of entities here and it is exciting to be a part of Media City Sound.”
Blackwood Hope comes to Media City Sound primarily from the world of television production where she began her career as a production accountant for Telepictures Productions/Time Warner Entertainment and as a production coordinator for Telepictures/CBS Television. Her credits include that of production manager for shows including Modern Marvels, Intimate Portraits, Sightings and How’d They Do That? She expanded her role to line producer for Titanic: Secrets Revealed and production supervisor for FOX Broadcasting Corporation’s Opening the Tombs of the 10,000 Mummies: LIVE in May of 2000. Most recently, Blackwood Hope was associate producer for 20th Television’s That’s Life and several 20th pilots including: The Real Deal, Kennedy and Dr. Drew, Texas Justice and The Christopher Lowell Show. She was also talent and travel supervisor for Steve Harvey Big Time on the WB Network and VH1’s In Search of the Partridge Family.
