New York, NY (March 3, 2004)–Since the MAD magnetostatic surface array made its European debut in November, the loudspeaker system has popped up at numerous concerts and events. Most recently, American songstress Alicia Keys was heard via a MAD A-9 surface array system supplied by Cologne-based company Balance-Showtec when she performed for a German TV/radio simulcast last month.
Just two weeks earlier, the main stage at the Fis Ski Worldcup in Flachau, Austria sported a MAD A-9 / Sub D system, as did the general meeting of Aventis AG at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt at the end of January.
The system can also be found on tour at the moment with Preluders and Overground, a group that won first place on Popstars, a TV series similar to American Idol. That tour is carrying 24 rows of MAD A-9 array, along with 16 rows of Sub D as well.
