Nashville, TN (March 29, 2010)–Michael Tiemann, owner/operator of Manifold Recording, recently purchased a Harrison TRION console to serve the post-production mixing needs of his facility.
Manifold Recording is a high-end, full-scale, carbon-neutral recording studio and media production facility currently under construction outside Chapel Hill, NC. Manifold Recording is also the site for The Miraverse, an environment that intends to take “new approaches to music production, licensing, and distribution to achieve better creative, economic, and cultural outcomes for all involved participants: artists, engineers, producers, and ultimately, audiences of all descriptions.”
Tiemann has also acquired a Harrison IKIS/Xrange I/O subsystem to feed the various audio signals throughout the facility’s multiple rooms. Productions from the Miraverse require support for video production, 2D and 3D rendering/compositing, and storage solutions to support workflows. The open architecture of the Harrison system makes it suited to achieving the goals of the new facility.
