East Rutherford, NJ (November 11, 2005)–Sound design and reinforcement vendor Masque Sound has recently purchased a new JBL VerTec line array system, with 36 VT4888 midsize line array enclosures delivered in the first order. Rapidly approaching its 70th anniversary, the East Rutherford, NJ-based company is well-known for its theatrical work on Broadway and with major touring productions, and is now making headway into the touring concert sound market with recent concert tours for Hilary Duff, Jesse McCartney, Kevin Spacey and other artists.
Company vice president Geoff Shearing remarked, “We’ve been JBL fans for many years. Our philosophy has always been to give the customer what they need as well as what they want. We’ve had numerous requests for the VT4888’s, and after looking into them we were convinced that they were a worthwhile investment,” Shearing added. “These are extremely practical speakers. They’re lightweight, rugged, easy to rig and they sound great.”
