New York (October 1, 2010)–Bob McCarthy will bring his four-day seminar, SIM 3 Training and System Design, to Vilnius, London, and Berlin this month.
Presented as part of Meyer Sound’s worldwide education program, the seminar will be taught in Vilnius, Lithuania, October 4-7; London, UK, October 11-14; and Berlin, Germany, October 18-21.
The in-depth “SIM 3 Training and System Design” seminar presents a theoretical and operational understanding of source independent measurement for designing audio systems. The four-day training begins with a comprehensive discussion of field use procedures for the SIM 3 audio analyzer. Participants then look at the complex interactions of loudspeakers in a variety of configurations and acoustical environments from the standpoints of phase, frequency and impulse responses.
Meyer Sound’s SIM source independent measurement was introduced in 1984, and was recognized with an R&D 100 Award in 1992. McCarthy has taken part in the development of every generation of the SIM audio analyzer and has travelled worldwide to design and align systems for every type of venue.
