Nashville, TN (October 30, 2007)--The METAlliance, a group of award-winning audio engineers and producers who have been involved in establishing techniques and technical standards that are the foundation of modern music recording, has announced the formation of a partnership program in which professional audio and video companies will work with the Alliance to help promote quality in the recording arts.

Recognizing the industry's success in bringing products offering convenience and low cost, the Alliance is dedicated to securing the art of music through recording technologies that best deliver the music in all its many modern forms. To do this, the Alliance states that quality needs to be recognized and supported.

Producer/engineers Chuck Ainlay, Ed Cherney, Frank Filipetti, George Massenburg, Phil Ramone, Elliot Scheiner and Al Schmitt comprise the METAlliance Board of Directors.

A limited number of companies have been approached to participate in this collaboration with the METAlliance to promote excellence in design and manufacturing. Once named a META partner, the organization will support evaluated products of the partner companies.

For the benefit of its corporate partners, the METAlliance program will offer:

• Use of the trademarked METAlliance logo on advertisements and product packaging;
• Appearance of METAlliance members for key activities;
• Usage of METAlliance marketing materials;
• Accessibility to Alliance members for contracted activities, including product development consultation and testing, demonstrations and educational events.

This offer will be limited to companies that have shown a capacity and proclivity to manufacture and distribute products that meet the organization's professional audio qualifications. The number of partners will be limited. Interested companies should contact Jim Pace, director of Business Affairs, at jpace@metalliance.com.
