Ambridge, PA (April 28, 2008)--Microsonic Music has introduced its first product, the Epic series of sound isolating personal monitors. The series consists of two models--the Epic X and the Epic JC.

The Epic X is said to be designed to provide additional bass with users such as rap artists, bass players, drummers, DJs, guitarists and iPod users in mind--and the Epic JC, which is said to provide enhanced high frequency response for listening environments where transparency is the utmost priority, being aimed at Classical musicians, Jazz musicians, a capella musicians and acoustic musicians. Both models features Microsonic's Swivel Nozzle, which adjusts to the shape of the individual's ear in an effort to deliver the sound with full frequency response.

Silicone ear flanges of three sizes are available to further customize to the individual's ear for sound isolation and comfort, and are said to be more hygienic and robust than foam. A detachable cable allows for replacement in the event damage to the cable. Reportedly supplying an isolation of 25dB from outside sound is achieved by a fit that conforms to the shape of the individuals ear. Because of the isolation, the monitor can be operated at a lower volume level, protecting the user's hearing while reputedly providing isolation from outside sound, such as high-decibel sound on stage.

The Epic series uses a balanced driver and is compatible with all wired and wireless equipment through a standard headphone jack. A carrying pouch and cleaning kit with replacement dampers are included.
