MilkBoy Works With Gomez Opens All-Ages Venue

Philadelphia, PA (September 8, 2006)--MilkBoy Recording Studio has opened up an all-ages live performance venue, MilkBoy Coffee, about a block away from the studio, in the Philadelphia suburb of Ardmore, PA. With the added visibility gained since opening, the studio has reportedly seen an up-tick in business.

Philadelphia, PA (September 8, 2006)--MilkBoy Recording Studio has opened up an all-ages live performance venue, MilkBoy Coffee, about a block away from the studio, in the Philadelphia suburb of Ardmore, PA. With the added visibility gained since opening, the studio has reportedly seen an up-tick in business.
Pictured at MilkBoy are (l-r): David Dye (host of "Live at the World Café"), producer Steve Berlin, and Tom Gray of Gomez.Most recently, Gomez was at MilkBoy, tracking for an Atlantic Records tribute album to The Band, and a "Live At The World Cafe," performance for WXPN with producer Steve Berlin and engineer Dave McNail, who was assisted by Tommy Joyner and Cody Cichowski. Scot Sax also recently tracked at MilkBoy, co-producing a solo release with Joyner, who also engineered the sessions.

The Dixie Hummingbirds recorded their MCG Records release at MilkBoy with producer Tony Beck and engineer Michael Nuceder, assisted by Tim Sonnefeld.
