Chiayi, Taiwan (January 10, 2007)–Mipro has launched its ACT-81/82 wireless microphone systems, featuring proprietary 128-bit encryption and a sub-band ADPCM algorithm that reportedly eliminates background noise.
Housed in a metal receiver with a full-color VFD (Vacuum Florescent Display) display, the controls are intuitive and accessible for system setup via a single rotary switch and Autoscan and ACT (automatic channel targeting) channel setup. PC-controllable software allows simultaneous monitoring and control of multiple, large-scale systems.
The ACT-81/82 features 24-bit audio quality and digital RF transmission, and DigitnamicPlus technology which, according to the company, eliminates compander noise. The vocal system comes equipped with a handheld transmitter featuring an anti-pop and anti-roll microphone capsule module with low-touch noise characteristics.
Additionally, the handheld (ACT-8H) and bodypack (ACT-8T) transmitter features both include a multi-function LCD indicator for working channel, transmitter battery status, input levels and error code.
