New York, NY (February 10, 2006)--The next session of Music Talks, a free event for independent artists, songwriters, producers, project studio owners and musicians to discuss music and recording industry topics, will be held at Dale Pro Audio on Sunday, February 26, 2006 from 1-3 PM. Music Talks is the creation of composer, producer and musician David C. Knight, and has been designed to encourage the giving and sharing of information, ideas and experiences by gathering music and recording industry professionals together, and inviting a "specialist" to come and advise the group on a particular topic. For example, if songwriters during a session discover the need to better understand a certain part of the copyright laws, then a copyright lawyer will be invited into a "Music Talks" session.

Music Talks provides a unique "small classroom" approach, offering artist, songwriters, project studio owners and musicians individual attention to better help them define and cultivate their careers, by working together, sharing information and experiences to identify what has worked and what has not worked for them in following career path opportunities.

“Traditional expos are needed, but Music Talks gives the people that make the music the opportunity to discuss, express and share their experiences about the music and recording industries among themselves. It gives the independent artists a voice of their own to be heard,” says David Knight.
