Hollywood, CA (April 10, 2009)--Swedish punk act Neverstore recorded "Summer," the lead single from its forthcoming Sony album at Ocean Way Recording in Hollywood.
Deryck Whibley, frontman for Sum 41, produced the track after touring in Japan with Neverstore as his band’s opening act. Neverstore was formed in Skövde, Sweden in 2000 and released its first album, Seven Hundred Sundays, in 2007. It has toured worldwide and received the MTV Europe Music Award for "Best Swedish Artist" in both 2007 and 2008. The act’s sophomore album, Heroes Wanted, was released in 2008.
Canadian punk rock band Sum 41 has released four albums, including the triple Platinum All Killer, No Filler. The band performs as many as 300 shows a year and conducts worldwide tours often lasting more than a year. It has been nominated for seven Juno Awards and have won twice (Group of the Year in 2002 and Rock Album of the Year for Chuck in 2005).
