New York, NY (April 8, 2005)–NHT Pro Audio recently loaned a 5.1-channel reference quality A-20/C-20/B-20 professional monitor system to the AES’s NY Chapter for use in the group’s monthly listening sessions, held in conjunction with the New School University’s Jazz & Contemporary Music Program. The system, which is on loan for 12 months, will be used for the local chapter’s popular program, featuring some of the industry’s leading producers and engineers who visit to share their experiences and technology-at-work insights.
“The Audio Engineering Society’s New York chapter is led by some of NHT’s best friends in the business, especially Elliot Mazer, who goes out of his way to make their events informative and flat-out fun,” said Don Bassey, product manager, NHT Pro Audio. “We especially appreciate the way in which this group reaches out to audio engineering students via the New School’s exemplary Jazz program, so we’re more than happy to support their efforts with a loan of one of our most popular products.”
“Personally, I’m a big fan of NHT’s monitors, especially the A-20, which is one of the most accurate and precise monitors on the block,” said Elliot Mazer, Chairman, AES-NY. “When it came time to assemble a system for our sessions at the New School, I wanted the best possible sound for the program, which is why I turned to NHT.”
