Los Angeles, CA (June 3, 2004)–NRG Recording has named Ashley Arrison studio manager of its recording facility. Arrison joined NRG in March after serving in studio management roles in Nashville and Los Angeles. Her career began in Nashville at Woodland Studios where she was studio manager. In Los Angeles, Arrison was assistant manager at Cello Studios for three years before joining NRG.
“I am pleased to be working at a studio as successful as NRG,” said Arrison. “It is quite rewarding to be a part of the stellar staff here at NRG. It is through this staff and my experiences that I plan to maintain and build upon the successes that Jay Baumgardner and NRG have enjoyed for years.”
Meanwhile, in Studio A, Interscope rockers Helmet tracked guitars with producer/lead singer Page Hamilton, engineer John Ewing, and assistant Mark Kiczula. And, American Idol star Tamyra Gray was in with producer Sam Waters, engineer Steve Churchyard, and assistant Mark Kiczula recording strings with composer David Campbell.
Gavin Rossdale has also been recording his first solo album with Hamilton producing, and Ewing engineering. Wind-Up Records band Submersed also tracked alongside producer Don Gilmore, Pro Tools engineer Daniel Mendez, and assistant Fox Phelps.
Producer/composer Gustavo Santadalla also recorded songs for the movie Broke Back Mountain at NRG with engineer Tony Paluso and assistant engineer Casey Lewis.
