Orlando, FL (March 10, 2005)--This year marks the Systems Integration Expo's 25th anniversary. To underscore the occasion, NSCA is pulling out all the stops at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL with pavilions, educational offerings and tons of special events designed to educate and entice at the same time.

Likely the biggest draw, however, are the exhibitors, and the Expo has around 600 of them, a number on par with last year's convocation in Las Vegas. The manufacturers are all on hand to show their latest and greatest products, covering every conceivable technological need of today's integrators. Visiting all those booths will be an expected 11,000 visitors, all in search of the ideal solution to provide their clients.

Some of the most popular additions to the Expo in recent years have been the Security/Life Safety Pavilion and the Digital Signage Showcase, both of which return this year, and 2005 marks the debut of the Network Integration Center, which will showcase system interoperability on the same TCP/IP network.

Executive director Chuck Wilson noted, "One thing that strikes me when I look at the exhibits on the show floor is that even if you're in the audio industry, you've got to understand networking. Almost every audio device has an RJ45 jack on it now--so we're starting to see that even with companies which are pure audio contractors, they need to understand the networking applications to go along with digital audio and networking applications."

An area on the show floor which is bound to be popular is the NSCA Zone, which, as Wilson put it, "is a whole area celebrating the 25-year anniversary; what you'll see there are cash prizes and in fact, we're giving away $25,000 at the end of the Expo to someone." Indeed, the NSCA Zone features a cyber cafŽ, putting contest, silent auction, Innovation in Technology Awards and more.

Other highpoints of the Expo include the Syn-Aud-Con Reunion this evening, conference courses and seminars, and a series of free Hot Topic Bonus Sessions held on the exhibit floor. For those who like to party things already started off with a bang last night with the Contractor Caper and Expojam featuring Kansas, and they'll continue tonight with numerous events and shindigs sponsored by various manufacturers.
