Las Vegas (June 13, 2008)--During NSCA's Annual Member Meeting and Industry Forum at InfoComm 08, NSCA will present awards to individuals and companies who have made a positive and lasting difference in the industry. The Member Breakfast will be held June 18 from 8-9 a.m. in Ballroom A of the Las Vegas Hilton.

"We are extremely grateful to our members and member companies who continue to give generously of their time and talents," Wilson said. "We look forward to the annual tradition of honoring their outstanding contributions during our member breakfast."

Among those who will be recognized are NSCA Instructors of the Year, manufacturer Partners in Education, and retiring NSCA Board of Directors members.

NSCA will present awards to the 2007 NSCA Expo Educator of The Year, the 2008 NSCA Volunteer of the Year, and the 2008 Per Haugen Lifetime Achievement Award winner. Haugen is a former president of the NSCA Board of Directors and was an active NSCA volunteer for two decades. NSCA seeks to recognize the spirit of involvement and strong commitment to both the association and the industry which each award recipient exemplifies.

The breakfast will also include a state of the union address and the election of new NSCA board members.
