New York, NY (June 8, 2010)--Nutmeg Post has named three new hires--audio engineers Roger Licari, Frank Cabanach and James von Beulow.
Licari began his career as a musician writing, recording and engineering in studios throughout New York City. Ultimately, he took his skills over to post production and sound design, working steadily with clients that included VH1, Comedy Central, Spike TV, A&E, Fuse, Nickelodeon and USA Network. He’s also worked on a number of independent and documentary films.
Cabanach began his career in New York City in 1986. As audio for all forms of media developed, so did he as an engineer. Throughout his career he has worked with almost every top broadcast and cable network including Animal Planet, Discovery Life, Sony Music, WGBH, BET, CBS, MTV, Discovery Kids, HBO, Showtime, YES and ESPN.
Von Beulow joins Nutmeg Post from SoundHound, where his clients included A&E Network, History Channel, Food Network, WE, Lifetime, MSG, SyFy, Animal Planet and Fox Reality. He began his career at Kamen Audio where he worked on TV/radio campaigns for Volvo, Pella Windows, The Wiz, Miller Beer and Robitussin for agencies that included Lowe & Partners, FCB, Deutch, Kirshenbaum, Digitas, and many others. He also spent several years at Videomix where his experience expanded into long-format and independent films, most notably Kevin Smith’s Clerks.
“Over the years, all three men have established a reputation as leading practitioners of their craft,” commented Nutmeg founder and owner Tony Spaneo. “In these very unique economic times it’s exciting to be able to realize the first step in a strategic expansion for Nutmeg Post. Hiring von Beulow, Licari and Cabanach is not only that first step but a continued commitment to giving our clients top-notch talent and the very best service.”
