Amsterdam, Holland (July 19, 2004)–NVISION will spotlight an exciting range of products at IBC 2004 Convention, which is being held in Amsterdam from September 9 through 14. Since its founding in 1989, NVISION has pioneered many advances, including synchronous AES routing and large-scale HD-SDI routing.
The overall theme of NVISION’s presence at this international convention, according to Jay Kuca, NVISION’s director of marketing, is: “Fully Integrated Routing and Master Control Solutions.”
Highlights are to include the NV7512 Expandable 512×512 Digital Audio Router, which supports analog as well as digital signals, and is linearly expandable to 4096-by-4096 mono channels using just four frames. The system’s TDM architecture supports true mono channel switching, making it possible to route any two-channel pair–including a pair comprised of one analog and one digital channel–to any router output.
Also at the show will be the NV5128-MC Multi Channel Master Control Switcher, which has been designed specifically to address the needs of TV stations in the process of converting existing analog infrastructure to digital and transitioning from single- to multichannel origination, and the NV8256-Plus Expandable 256×256 Digital Video Router, which supports HD-SDI, SDI, and analog video, and is easily expanded to 512×512.
In related news, NVISION recently named Axon Digital Design as a Master Distributor of its products in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. In addition to the enhanced sales agreement, the two companies have also agreed to place NVISION support staff in Axon’s Netherlands headquarters.
NVISION’s worldwide customer base includes major television networks, TV stations, DBS operators, video and film post production facilities, and streaming media operations. The company possesses a portfolio of more than 40 patents
