Brandon, FL (September 26, 2005)–Old School Audio will introduce a new transformer coupled VCA “I.G.M” compressor at the upcoming AES show in New York City, October 7-10. This new compressor features optional input and output transformers and is linkable to eight units for 7.1 surround capability. The VCA based I.G.M. compressor is compatible with the current Old School Audio mounting frame, or any API 500 series compatible frame.
Old School Audio (OSA) manufactures API 500 series compatible preamps and mounting frames. OSA preamps are currently available in four different versions; MP1-A “The Original”, MP1-C “The Vintage”, MP1-L “The Mutant” and the MP1-L3 “The Big Daddy.” An Instrument DI option can be added to the MP1-A, MP1-C, or MP1-L. The MP1-L3 comes standard with DI.
