Nashville, TN (June 20, 2007)–One Systems USA is featuring three of its new direct-weather loudspeaker systems this week at InfoComm in Anaheim, CA. Each model consists of a lightweight copolymer enclosure, and is suitable to withstand direct weather environments that include rain or snow. In addition, these One Systems direct weather loudspeakers each utilize patent-applied-for technologies that bring high performance and high intelligibility audio to outdoor installations.
One Systems USA’s 212CIM sound reinforcement system.The 112IM is a lightweight, copolymer-based, all-weather loudspeaker system that consists of a single 12-inch I/O woofer and a large-format Equivalent Throat (ET) driver coupled to a fully rotatable high-frequency horn. The 112IM may be used in direct weather outdoor installations as well as indoor applications where high vocal intelligibility and accuracy are required. The enclosure ships with two high-frequency horns (60×40 and 105×60) that both feature One Systems’ ET technology.
The 212IM-L is a 3-way, double 12-inch, lightweight line array. The speaker system has a copolymer enclosure that may be used in direct weather outdoor installations as well as indoor applications. It utilizes two 12-inch 12 I/O low-frequency drivers and the midrange section features two vertically oriented 6.5-inch neodymium-based direct radiators. The high-frequency section consists of three compression drivers coupled to a planar front wave guide with a nominal horizontal included angle of 90 degrees. The 212IM-L is ideal for stadiums, racetracks and other sports venues.
The 212CIM is a very compact, high-output, full-range sound reinforcement system that features a two-element vertical array loudspeaker system designed to produce very high sound pressure level vocal range content with very high intelligibility. The 212CIM is a dual 12-inch system that employs a large-format compression driver-based coaxial driver as one of the 12-inch elements. Vocal fundamentals are accurately and intelligibly reproduced by a two-element direct radiator design that does not suffer from the traditional colorations found in conventional horn systems.
